from all of us at oah, happy new year! we are writing to share some items of interest

with you.

1.) make your plans now to attend the 2005 oah annual meeting in san francisco, march

31-april 3. for more information, including online preregistration, visit: http://www.oah.org/meetings/2005

2.) if you have not yet voted in the 2005 oah election, please take a moment and do

so now. using your oah membership id number, please visit http://www.oah.org/members/vote/ and cast your ballot today.

3.) the oah committee on the status of women in the historical profession is conducting

a survey on the impact of employee parental leave policies on oah members. please

complete the brief online survey at: http://www.oah.org/surveys/famleave.php

4.) the deadline for submitting a proposal for the 2006 oah annual meeting in washington,

d.c., is fast approaching. please visit http://www.oah.org/meetings/2006/ for more information. the deadline for proposals

is january 25, 2005.
